India Nuclear Power Plant Earthquake Risk Analysis

This poster will be different from before, but it will be like a example of the next post of human geography I’m gong to do.

earthquake

India’s nuclear power plants are safe from earthquakes. The picture  above, shows  tectonic plate boundaries, India’s nuclear power plants, and the magnitude and strength of earthquakes in the past 30 days. As we can see there doesn’t has any earthquakes happen around the nuclear power plants.

In-fact, the nuclear power plants might still be not save. The nuclear power plants can be destroy by the things cause by earthquakes(secondary natural disasters), such as as tidal waves, landslides and urban fires. If there are going to be a very strength earthquake around Andaman Sea, it might cause tidal waves and kill lot of people, like the one in 2004, the earthquake happen around India Ocean and the Fukushima Daiichi disaster that happened in Japan in 2014.
