Picture A-2 surface wind of Italy

The kind of wind around the surface of Italy is westerlies. Westerlies is an area that has the same type of wind, which is high pressure wind. Westerlies is prevailing winds surround the latitude of 30-60 degrees. And it is high pressure. In the south of Italy there is the north horse latitude, clam of cancer, which describes the area between westerlies and trade wind, has the latitude between 30-35 degrees. Trade wind is prevailing winds surround the latitude around 0-30 degrees. And it is low pressure.

In the west of Italy (the Atlantic ocean) the wind over there is easy to form typhoon because it’s on top of the ocean, so it has a lot of water. And it is same as the Northwest, north, east of Italy.

And on the surface of southern Italy, which is around Scilia the wind is going circular, which means the picture will be look like a typhoon

If we look at the picture B and then compare it to picture A we can know some wind had effected by other wind in different latitudes, such as horse latitude and polar easterlies. Because the wind will go from high pressure to low pressure, so the wind will be moving. The polar easterlies are the dry, cold prevailing winds.
